A Place to Learn, Grow, and Prepare for the Future

At Eva Carlston Academy, learning is purposeful and individualized. As a fully accredited school, we offer courses aligned with local education requirements alongside targeted college-preparatory curriculum. Students complete career aptitude and interest assessments, explore post-secondary pathways, and gain clarity about their options beyond high school.

Academics are paired with intentional skill-building. In addition to core coursework, students develop essential soft skills—such as collaboration, flexible thinking, and self-advocacy—along with practical hard skills that support academic and career readiness. Whether rebuilding confidence after a disrupted academic experience or preparing for what comes next, students are supported, challenged, and held to meaningful standards in a setting that values both learning and well-being.

Accreditation, Quality Standards, and College Preparation

Eva Carlston Academy is fully accredited through Cognia, ensuring that our curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices meet nationally recognized standards for academic quality and accountability. Students earn transferable high school credits and may graduate with a Utah state diploma or transition back to their home school with a strong, standards-based academic record.

College preparation is embedded throughout the academic experience. Students are offered structured ACT and SAT preparation, individualized academic planning, and direct support with college applications. Instruction emphasizes analytical writing, critical reading, executive functioning, and sustained academic engagement—skills essential for success in college-level coursework and beyond.

Teaching That Adapts, Learning That Inspires

At Eva Carlston Academy, instruction is intentionally flexible, data-informed, and highly responsive to individual learners. We offer certified special education services, including IEP development and ongoing support, and coordinate closely with home school districts to ensure alignment and continuity of services.

Our mastery-based curriculum emphasizes deep understanding and skill development, with a strong focus on reading, language arts, and mathematics. Small class sizes allow for high levels of student–teacher interaction, enabling instructors to adjust pacing, monitor progress, and respond in real time. Through targeted instruction and consistent feedback, students build confidence, academic momentum, and a genuine sense of success in the classroom.
