MEET THE TEAM

Ollie Wilder, M.Ed

Art Teacher

Ollie has been an educator for over a decade and has taught in museum, summer camp, private, and public school settings. Ollie received a BFA in Drawing and Painting from Utah State University and a M.Ed from the University of Utah and is deeply passionate about teaching young people how to access their own creativity. Ollie has been trained in trauma informed and culturally relevant classroom practices and believes every child can be an artist. Ollie hopes to be a safe adult that can help students feel cared for and seen.

Ollie often tells students that: "Creativity is your own personal magic and when you are connected to that magic you can heal your heart and envision a better world through art."

Ollie loves to draw, paint, make comics, sew, do ceramics and printmaking, read, cook, play the guitar, and spend time with family, friends, and their two dogs.
