MEET THE TEAM

Savannah Domgaard, MSCMHC

Clinical Assistant

Savannah has been part of the Eva Carlston Academy community for nearly four years, serving in a number of integral roles. She started as a Direct Support Staff within the milieu and then supervisory capacity, ultimately attending Westminster University to attain her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Through this work, she has developed a strong foundation in relational care, emotional safety, and developmentally informed support.

Savannah’s clinical approach blends psychodynamic and interpersonal perspectives with an understanding of core CBT and DBT principles. She places particular emphasis on feminist and cultural considerations, and values exploring how identity, relationships, and broader social contexts influence an individual’s internal experience and patterns of connection.

“I believe healing happens when we are given enough space and safety to come back to ourselves, and I value being part of environments that make that possible.”

Outside of her clinical work, Savannah enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures, and values experiences that invite curiosity, exploration, and broader perspectives. She has a deep appreciation for the arts, including theater, visual art, and fashion, and enjoys discovering creative spaces both locally and while traveling. These interests support her belief in self-expression, meaning making, and openness to different ways of seeing the world.
