Shelly Burruss

Health & Wellness Coordinator

Shelly has worked with youth in a residential treatment setting for numerous years as a mentor, shift lead, home manager, and Program Director before becoming the Health and Wellness coordinator. As Health and Wellness coordinator at Eva Carlston, Shelly manages psychiatry and medical appointments.

"I love being involved in the daily activities of Eva Carlston. We are mindful about everything we do. Watching these girls learn, grow, and begin to find their place in the world is extremely satisfying."

Shelly has a degree in social work and criminal justice, and is extensively trained in the Teaching-Family Model, which is central to Eva Carlston’s therapeutic philosophy and approach.

During her free time, Shelly enjoys water skiing, snowboarding, camping, gardening, and spending time with her husband and two kids.
