Student Experience
LIFE AT EVA CARLSTONDaily Living at Eva Carlston Academy
At Eva Carlston Academy, the student experience is intentionally layered. From morning routines to evening reflection, every part of the day is built to support emotional growth, academic progress, creative expression, and real-life connection.
Students live in art-filled homes, explore their creativity, receive consistent support from licensed therapists and Youth Mentors, and venture into the city daily for cultural activities, volunteer work, and outdoor adventure. Here, learning, therapy, and everyday life are fully integrated, not separate tracks, but one cohesive experience.
Therapy that Feels Natural and Personal
Therapeutic support is built into each day. Students receive individual, group, and family therapy as well as real-time coaching from Youth Mentors who know them well. Because care is consistent and relational, growth happens not just in sessions, but in everyday interactions.
EDUCATIONAcademics That Meet Each Student Where She Is
Our academic program is fully accredited and highly personalized. Small class sizes and certified teachers allow students to learn at a pace that works for them. Whether rebuilding confidence after disrupted schooling or preparing for college, students find the support they need to succeed.
URBAN INTEGRATIONReal-World Experiences,
Every Day
Students leave campus every day for activities that foster growth, joy, and perspective. Whether visiting a museum, hiking a local trail, volunteering in the community, or attending a cultural event, these outings reinforce lessons from therapy and school while helping students reconnect with the world.
FINE ARTCreativity that Opens New Doors
We provide students with access to studio space, time, and instructors who guide them through both visual and performing arts. Whether working with clay, movement, or mixed media, students are invited to take creative risks and find their voices.
Experimentation and personal exploration are encouraged! By trying a variety of media, students learn to embrace mistakes, work through perfectionism, and build confidence.
